When the salmon fishing day comes to a close there is still lots to do and see on Ole's floating fishing lodge. Remember to bring along your swim suit so you can relax and unwind in the on-deck hot tub; there is nothing like it after a day on the water, especially if you hook onto one of the giant deep water halibut that frequent our waters. Between tides (when you're not fishing) you can kick back in one of our hammocks. You'll feel like a king rocking in a hammock with your favourite beverage near at hand, bald eagles soaring overhead, sea otters playing in the kelp beds and sea lions barking in the distance. I guarantee it! Or how about chess, cribbage or darts; you'll find there's always something going on at Ole's BC fishing charters.
We also have some more active pursuits.
We may be a floating fishing lodge, but that just makes the activities we come up with that much more interesting. Try our golf driving range challenge, -yep, the golf balls float- you'll have to come up and try your luck. Or if you're feeling energetic, take out one of our ocean kayaks and get up close and personal with Hakai Pass. You can paddle to shore and explore some of the beaches and the local flora and fauna.
Wildlife and scenery galore.
Sightseeing and wildlife viewing are always on the menu on your BC fishing trip with Ole's Fishing Charters. You may see Orcas (Killer Whales) or Humpback whales and Pacific Whiteside dolphins or you might choose to take a trip out to the local sea lion colony. The West coast of British Columbia is known for remoteness and wildlife. In your spare time you could be feeding the eagles, watching diving ducks or just taking in the untouched splendor that is Hakai Pass. It's all up to you
Whatever your interests, you'll find that there is more than just a top notch BC fishing trip awaiting you at Ole's Hakai Pass fishing charters on the West coast of British Columbia, Canada. Please contact us for more information or to book your BC fishing vacation.
